How We Supercharged a Health & Wellness Brand's ROAS by 150% in Just 7 Months

The Challenge
In late 2022, a health & wellness brand launched with big ambitions but faced several obstacles:
ROAS barely surpassed 1x
CPA was unsustainable
Conversion rate (CVR) stuck at 0.3%
Despite their efforts with self-managed ad campaigns, growth was stagnant, and scaling seemed out of reach.

Tested 8–15 ad creatives, doubling their ROAS to 2x
Months 2–4:
Introduced new offers to increase AOV, including higher unit counts with small discounts
Implemented retention strategies via email marketing, including 6 automated flows and weekly campaigns
By Month 4, CVR reached 8%, ROAS hit 2.5x, and CPA dropped to 17% of the total marketing budget
Month 5-6:
Introduced upsells and a free shipping threshold progress bar, increasing AOV by 30%
ROAS climbed to 2.7x, with a CVR of 6.5%
Overcoming Challenges
In Month 5, the client paused our work to focus on organic social media, leading to a sharp drop in performance. Within five days, they returned, recognizing the value of our approach.
Even with supply chain issues in Month 7, we maintained a CPA below their 20% target, a 2.3x ROAS, and a CVR of 5.5%.
The Results
By Month 7, we had delivered:
A 150% increase in ROAS
A consistent CPA below 20% of the total budget
